Mindy Scheier and Hallie Dennis co-founded Future Fashionistas drawing from their belief that “true” fashion design could be taught at an early age for optimum growth and exploration.

Fashion designers by trade, they have logged over 20 years of experience in the ever changing world of fashion.

Mindy Scheier graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.A in fashion design.  She was fortunate enough to study fashion design, construction and merchandising through the Fashion Institute of Technology in Florence, Italy during her junior year of college. Mindy designed and styled for many fashion houses including Sakes Fifth Ave and the INC private label collection at Bloomingdales. 

Hallie Dennis was formally trained at Drexel University where she received a B.S. degree in fashion design.  She began her training at a very young age through pre-college courses at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Rhode Island School of Design.  Her training has led her down many amazing paths including a stylist at MTV House of Style and dress designer for both Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Loft.
The passion that both Mindy and Hallie have for fashion has led them to the creation of Future Fashionistas. Sharing their knowledge and experience empowers students to embrace their individuality within the world of fashion.
